Research

My research work was related to the development of computational methods in the field of multiscale methods and numerical homogenization, that direct applications can be found in modelling advanced materials. My studies were focused on the application of an innovative multiscale finite element method (MsFEM) in the analysis of heterogeneous materials, such as composites, metamaterials, and objects produced using 3D printing technology. My thesis advisor was Prof. Witold Cecot from the Cracow University of Technology.

Among my most significant achievements are original modifications of the MsFEM method: the introduction of B-spline functions into the method's algorithm and anisotropic approximation for modeling beam and sandwich-type plate structures; the application of a three-scale approach in modeling 3D printed elements. Additionally, I conducted experimental tests to validate the numerical approach.

Below, I provide lists of my publications, conference presentations, courses, and my doctoral thesis.
